Hi thitawan, to simplify things maybe you just shoot at school. since the installation is specific to the catwalk in location, i suggest you shoot yourself walking (and others) from above and from below the catwalk itself. so above shot would show your feet moving (with parts of leg) and the below shot would just show the soles of the feet.
ReplyDeletemaybe you can do a split screen projection: one onto the roof above the catwalk and one onto the ground below it. that way you'd create a visual intervention that disrupts the sense of above and below, a 'virtual' dual passage.
this will be more effective i believe and will save time, a i have not heard back from otis yet.
thitawan: another sugesstion:
ReplyDeleteset up your camera (on tripod)and get the perfect frame form above and below. leave camera recording and the edit down, so you get multiple people passing by.(composition: as discussed last class, just showing the textuure of catwalk, not the sides, except for the 'below' birds-eye shot which will inherently have that)
